As a registered nurse, the health risks of being very overweight (including heart attack, stroke, hypertension, diabetes and stomach disorders) were well known. In fact, I experienced a few of them myself before learning the facts that work.
While the physical symptoms of overeating are obvious and discussed openly there are social symptoms that many individuals struggle with privately as well including discrimination and lack of self confidence.
While sources vary, statistics show more than 95% of individuals regain their weight within 1 year of stopping their diet and add additional pounds in the process.
Why? Because they had the wrong facts and were unaware of the strategies and techniques that are helping others remain free from their weight issues forever!
The good news is that each of us can change the statistics in America. Freedom from excessive weight is achievable when you follow safe best weight loss practices. The Internet is a great place to learn but some of the facts may be misleading and outright dangerous.
This site aims to provide current, trustworthy, credible facts to teach others how to become free from excessive weight permanently. Whether you or someone you love is overweight, learning firsthand from others is the best place to start for permanent weight management! Permanent weight management begins with safe, reliable information, the mission of Obesity Free Forever!
