Free Weight Loss Programs
These Tips Can Save You Time, Money and Your Online Reputation
While learning the facts on obesity, I researched many free weight loss programs.
Many sites led to false advertisements and were not free. Others led to over promising claims.
What Do You Expect From Free Weight Loss Programs?
This was a question I asked myself. Here are some items that came to mind:• It can calculate

Are They Really Free Weight Loss Plans?
There are literally thousand of searches that advertise free weight loss programs, however, when you look deeper, many are not free.
While the site might let you use their tools such as the bmi calculator or online diary for free, there may be a catch!
Many sites ask you to accept their terms and conditions before joining.
Within the terms and conditions is legal language that discusses your rights as a user of their program.
Before committing to any free weight loss program, follow these tips to ensure identity privacy and accuracy of claims:
Learn what will be done with your private information. Many sites have you sign away your privacy rights.
Be cautious of sites that take ownership of your personal information, including your weight loss story and pictures and the right to distribute your information in any way they choose.
Determine accessibility to their "experts". Many free weight loss programs advertise the opportunity to tap into their experts for a fee. Look into the fees before committing to the program.
Understand that results will vary with individuals.
The FTC warns American consumers of the extensive fraud in the weight loss industry.
Look for language such as: • Quick weight loss diet plan • Diet for Fast Weight Loss • Quick Weight Loss Tips • Quick Weight Loss Plans • Quick Weight Loss Programs • Fast Weight Loss Tips
Long term weight loss will never be quick or fast. It took me 13 months to lose 120 pounds.
A healthy weight loss diet plan
consists of safe, natural foods that you eat every day.
Quick and fast weight loss are more consistent with an
unhealthy diet and set you up for rebound and failure.
Make sure the products and services offered are approved by the US government.
Many weight loss products contain disclaimers that they are not FDA approved. Also, check the FDA website
Also, check the FDA website
to make sure the product is not on the recall list, which can happen.
Because many weight loss supplements do not meet US government standards, there is no way of knowing all the ingredients that are actually going into the product.
